Sorihashi Bridge

Hidden messages at Sorihashi Bridge, Osaka Japan

Yesterday I went out to visit Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. I enjoyed this beautiful place and decided to leave a hidden message at the Sorihashi Bridge (also known as Taiko Bridge). It’s a beautiful orange arc bridge located near the entrance to the shrines.

Do so, I used an augmented reality Android app called WallaMe. A location-based social messaging AR app that allows you to live either private or public messages in the real world for others to discover.

I tried similar apps before, but they didn’t have many users, so my message wasn’t found. I saw that the app was released back then in 2015 and has 866 votes (as of the time of writing), soI’ve decided to check it out.

Using this app you can draw, paint, place images, write text, emotes,  and apply some filters.  I also left on near Kyoto Station at Higashihonganji Temple, so if you arrive in Kyoto and visiting those places, use WallaMe and fav my artistic works 🙂
